MAKING: Content for this new website in the hope I can launch it before I start a new job in two weeks.
COOKING: A whole lot of recipes from Florence-based Emiko Davies' blog, Jamie Oliver's one-pan fabulous fish and lots of roast root veg to have on hand for Remy's meals.
DRINKING: Home-made lattes using our own Breville Barista Express machine, Aroma coffee beans brought back with me from Sydney, and Green Pastures full cream milk (I am hell-bent on having this milk over any other brand)
READING: Condé Nast articles on Italy
DECIDING: What kind of holiday we want to have this year, if at all
ENJOYING: Remy's new-found independence. He now can amuse himself for hours with one single wooden toy campervan while I spend time cooking
ANTICIPATING: A more predictable routine once I'm working a new part-time job and Remy is in childcare
WORKING: Finishing off writing a few more real wedding articles for issue 21 of Hello May magazine, and waiting to hear about a 2-day gig next week at an agency in Richmond. Plus, looking forward to a few family shoots in the coming months
BUYING: Too many clothes in anticipation of autumn/winter and a new job, mainly from HOSS and ECO D
WATCHING: Rick Stein's food travel shows and laughing at/enjoying how awkward and unpretentious he is for someone presenting on TV
HOPING: Lior and I can keep up the weekend cook-ups together
MARVELLING: Melbourne weather. I've lived here five years now, but I'm still thrown by 26 degrees and sun one day, and 10 degrees with rain and hail the next
