Hello there!

It feels a little confronting publishing this big photo of myself but for those looking at my work, I wanted to introduce myself.

I am a creative soul that has spent the last ten years working as a writer; I use words in the most creative way possible to express ideas, communicate messages and sometimes, sell stuff. My work as a writer has always required me to research thoroughly and know who I'm talking to. I've become quite attuned to stepping into other people's shoes while working on a writing project.

After the birth of my first baby boy Remy in March 2017, life changed, for the better. I was not just a creative professional, a striving person, but a mother, born for the first time.

And with that, I was propelled unashamedly into doing what made my heart feel full... allowing myself to move slowly, think deeply and while caring full-time for my sweet Remy, I began again to really enjoy music, nature, books, knitting (a new skill learnt!), poetry and of course, photography - where my journey as a creative adult began some 15 years ago.

Before I completed a Graphic Design Certificate IV in 2016 (while pregnant and freelancing) and a Journalism Post-Graduate Diploma in 2012, I spent three years completing a Visual Arts Bachelor's degree majoring in Photomedia.

This undergraduate degree gave me the opportunity to do a student exchange in Paris where I took on the challenge of studying photography in French (of which I could speak very little) at the renowned École Nationale Supérieure Des Beaux-Arts (School of Fine Arts).

So after many years of disconnect, being able to pick up my camera (or cameras - I am a guilty collector!) and shoot precious moments makes me rejoice and feel grateful to return to remnants of my youth and the freedom of that time.

In 2018, I am eager to marry all of these past experiences of learning, enjoyment and creation to do meaningful work for and with other similar-minded people.

I hope you will join me on the journey...
