Artist Statement | Paintings

My paintings, both abstract and figurative, aim to convey tne naive quality I admire in other artists’ work within the same genre. As an untrained painter, my goal is to curtail traits of perfectionism and reignite the unfulfilled child artist that stirs within me. Depicting the highs and lows of domestic life,, from the disconnected dining table to joyful flowers in a vase, my paintings provide an outlet to express the unexpressed happenings of life in the home.
